Why is Bangabandhu's speech on March 7 recognized in the world ?

Bangabandhu's speech on March 7 is an epic of the liberation of a nation. It is characterized by multidimensionality. Not only for the Bengalis, but also for the world humanity, an unforgettable, valuable document or resource. This is recognized by the recent decision of UNESCO. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized the historic speech of Bangabandhu on March 7, 2016 as a World Heritage Document at its biennial conference held in Paris on October 30, 2017 and has included it in the organization's Memory of the World International Registrar. After two years of documentary scrutiny by a 15-member international advisory or expert committee, it was finally adopted by the organization's executive committee with the consent of the UNESCO Secretary-General. Even after 46 long years, this decision of the United Nations is undoubtedly a historic event. As a result, the historic speech of March 7, the great hero of Bengali history, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, inspired by the creation of Bangladesh, was recognized and accepted as a valuable and traditional resource of mankind worldwide. It is a great joy and a rare honor for all of us, including the 3 million martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom and the millions of mothers and sisters who lost their dignity. It is to be noted that in 1999, UNESCO recognized our 21st February Martyr's Day as the International Mother Language Day. As a result, it is now being celebrated all over the world as a symbol of preserving the rights of different language groups. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman not only played the role of organization in that language movement, he was one of the first prisoners of the language movement.

It is to be noted that since 1992, UNESCO has been making arrangements for the recognition and protection of World Heritage Sites. In the words of UNESCO Secretary-General Irina Bokova, I firmly and firmly believe that this program should be conducted to preserve the documentary heritage and memory, so that present and future generations can have dialogue, international cooperation, mutual understanding and a sense of peace. Can hold the mind. War, Religious Insanity, Looting, Due to unplanned development, world heritage resources are being destroyed and destroyed in every country. Again, due to the scarcity of resources, it is not possible to save properly. That is why it is sinking into the abyss of destruction or oblivion. Considering these aspects, the importance of this program of UNESCO is immense. From the speech given in memory of the soldiers and civilians killed in the battle against Sparta, another city-state of Pericles, the Greek city-state of Athens, to the speech of US President Ronald Reagan in Berlin in 1978, More impact The British historian Jacob Field compiled a book entitled 'We Shall Fight on the Beaches: The Speeches That Inspired History', about the famous speeches of 41 military and civilian national heroes. Which was published in 2013 from London. Bangabandhu's speech on March 7 also took place in this book.
